NakedTees.com is a Orange County, California based screen printing and online retail company founded in 2002.

It has been said that most great ideas start on a paper napkin.  Well this one sure did!  It all started in 2002, while sitting at a bar in San Diego over a few cocktails. We  thought why not create a t-shirt site with the focus on wearable art (subjective at best).  At that moment it hit us to create the best collection of screen tees in a multitude of revelations.

Many people think that just putting some ink on a shirt is not really fashion.  I say they are wrong.  These days there are so many mediums to express your feelings and thoughts.  Putting ink on a shirt is the most mobile and most expressive method.  Simple things like just a few words of encouragement or just plain foul are all expressions at the moment.  Think about it - when you look for something to wear and you find that t-shirt in the dresser, what makes you decide to wear it?  I know for me it was how I feel at the moment.  Weather it be something like "Say hello to Mom" or expressive like a tattoo art shirt - the moment is my expression of choice. 

We are looking for the best and brightest in designers and manufactures to help make this site the destination for popular signature t-shirts, art hoodies, track jackets and tank tops and other accessories that are inspired by spiritual nostalgia, mythical beings and poetry, pop surrealism, modern culture and pop culture.
We want to tell a story behind each sketch, design, art, drawing and painting.
